As JW's, everybody had a vision of what the new system would bring. Those with fragile health dreamt of having perfect health. Those who were poor could only expect to be better off. For others, it would be to see those who had died, come back to life.
What was missing in your life, that only the new system could bring?
Seeing my father again.
He was an alcoholic and I wanted to see him sober and a good man that he really was.
In all honesty, I was MORE concerned with "doing enough" and "passing the tests" that Satan was going to bring down on us (JWs) and getting my sorry ass successfully THROUGH it all-----than I was "dreaming" about what would be going on after I got there.
Deep down, I did have all the usual hopes of seeing loved ones who had passed, but beyond that....not many real wishes other than good health were on my mind.
