I want to apologize for the "spit in your eye" comment. As you are, I'm quite passionate about what I believe, especially with reference to the US and what it stands for and in regards to Israel for whom I feel a special connection personally.
One of the things I'm willing to lay down my life for is the freedom of speech we all share in the US. I disagree with almost everything the two of you say and stand for, but would give my life for your right to say it.
Having said that, a wonderful thing happened this week. When the Israeli troops pulled out of a Palestinian settlement after it was used as a platform by Hamas to launch missles at Israeli targets, the Palestinians came out and protested...Not against Israel, but against Hamas and other terror organizations hiding amongst the general population of Palestinians. Maybe there is hope.
I'll even give you a criticism against Israel to show I do look at the issues. It was wrong of Israel not to commit to the "Road to Peace" in anyway. They said they won't even commit to looking at it until the PA took action against the terrorists. This is wrong headed. They should have commited to the idea and then laid the ball in the court of the PA to lock down on the terrorists.
Ya'll be cool. I just wanted to keep this more peaceful.
