It is looking more and more like there is no one running this organization. The just keep sending out mixed and contradictory messages at an ever increasing rate. The website and this videos just multiply the problem.

    Let's review: It's a cult!

@ 02:30 This "Helper to the Service Committee" is telling young men at Bethel to "think seriously about how Jehovah would like to use you".

How about just looking at the Older Couples who are getting the boot! Look at them. You want to end up like them?!

I don't see elders as secret weapons more like pawns to be exploited by the WTS GB.

What a load of BULLSHIT! Total indoctrination. I will say this though the elders ive been around for the last 10 years most certainly do believe themselves to be princes. Hence why they will never wash the feet of the rank & file.

Elders are the secret weapon who will guide the flock through troubling times ahead?

    Oh this is rich....

I have been watching the elder pool in our local area dry up both in quanity and quality.

First there was a split. 5 elders for each Hall.

Now all the original elders have moved away or been removed except 2. New elders have been brought in for a grand total of 8 shared between the two Halls.

One Hall has dwindled to the size of a book study (approx 45 people peak attendance).

Of the 8 elders, one is an alcoholic who relapses occasionally. Two others take anxiety meds and are either hyper or zombie like, depending.

3 others are brand new and were appointed out of desperation. One is barely able to read and the best thing that can be said about him as far as qualifications is that he is very "friendly" to all.

Also, between the 2 halls there have been 5 elders who have rotated through the COBE position because they just dont want it in just over two years.

It has all just become a joke.

This talk is based on the Watchtower Nov 2013 about 7 shepherds and 8 dukes (them being the secret weapon)

The Bible says that this army is made up of “seven shepherds” and “eight dukes,” or princes. (Micah 5:5) Who are they? They are the congregation elders. (1 Peter 5:2) Today, Jehovah is using many faithful elders to shepherd and to strengthen his people for the future attack of “the Assyrian.” * (See footnote.) Micah’s prophecy tells us that they will “shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword.” (Micah 5:6) One of the weapons they use to defeat the enemy is “the sword of the spirit,” God’s Word.—Ephesians 6:17; 2 Corinthians 10:4.
    17. What four lessons can the elders learn from the account we have discussed?
17 Elders, you can learn some helpful lessons from what we have just discussed: (1) The best thing you can do to prepare for the future attack of “the Assyrian” is to strengthen your faith in God and help your brothers to do the same. (2) When “the Assyrian” attacks, you must be completely convinced that Jehovah will save us. (3) At that time, the direction that you receive from Jehovah’s organization may seem strange or unusual. But all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether we agree with them or not, because obeying these instructions will save our lives. (4) If any are putting their trust in the education of this world, material things, or human organizations, they must change their way of thinking now. You must be ready to help any who may not be putting their complete trust in Jehovah.

From reading the article, they attempt to explain that the scripture had fulfillment in Hezekiahs time, Jesus time and today. Seems like thiey are retaining this type and anti type without supporting it biblically.
