Total strangers are more loving than God

Imagine this. Someone has been involved in a car crash or shooting. Total strangers usually rush to the aid of the victims. Ringing for an ambulance, giving some kind of basic first aid. Ripping their own clothes to help stop the flow of blood leaking out. Giving their jacket to use as a pillow or blanket. Then being rushed to hospital and having a team of people who have trained long and hard and dedicated their lives to helping save lives. Yet... God watches... If no strangers, or dare I say it, Worldly people were around. This man or woman could call out to God until they use their last breath and God wouldn't do a thing.

Yep , and the reason why is that there never was such thing as a god or gods, we humans are left to survive on are own by are own self devised endeavors.

The ancient civilizations that existed thousands of years before a single word was written in the bible, those people's gods never existed either.

Mankind has been calling out to the heavens to the supposed god creators for help in humility's perils but nothing has ever resulted from that effort.

Mind you we have killed one another many times over whose god is the real almighty one in an effort to make certain individuals more powerful and prominent.

The JWS is no different in that respect for it has broken apart millions of families and killed thousands over the years.

It might just be that scientific investigation is simply right in stating that the only thing up there is rocks, minerals and burning gases moving around.

The fact is humanity needs itself to survive and to make are living experience as best as possible, we all need to be compassionate humanists.

They would say that the injured one called out to God and he sent those strangers to help.

The problem with that thinking is what about all those who did cry out to God but help never came in time, or ever?

    Very good point.

The person who was saved by the strangers will surely thank god for saving them!!

Circumstances make heroes. most people will step up when there is a need. This goes contrary to the idea that mankind removed from god is evil

Scruff and Biahi you're right but only in places where the culture and language has been permeated with dependence on God-- such as USA, Ireland and Islamic lands for example.

    I see it like this:

if the person believes in god existence then they will thank god and feel that there was some sort of divine intervention.

But if the person doesn’t believe that there’s a higher being, then that person will probably feel that human kind is not that bad as so many feel that we are.

We all know what suffering can be like on our own skin so we are prompted to help others based on our own knowledge of pain.

Human living experience is always real, god(s) interactions are not and never have been real for they wholly come from human imagination and inherent ignorance, that leaves humanity to take of ourselves to best that we can do for ourselves.

Well at least until a time comes there is positive evidence of a supernatural being that actually wants to help in are enduring perils.

To be fair they are being paid bloody good money to do this AND get the acclaim, regard and power that has always come with the job.

Of course folks like St. John’s ambulance most definitely do what they do from altruistic motives.
