Please Note: Both of us — Falon and Jason — have broken nearly every major Jehovah’s Witness rule.

We’ve celebrated holidays. We’ve spoken out publicly. We’ve embraced the lives the organization told us to fear.

And yet… we haven’t been officially ... officially disfellowshipped.

Jason still lives just a few miles from the Kingdom Hall where his publisher card is still on file. Falon’s family knows exactly where she stands. Neither of us has hidden who we are — and yet, on paper, we’re just “inactive.”

So why haven’t we been formally disfellowshipped?

In this episode, we explore a theory. One that says a lot about control, appearances, and the fear-based culture Jehovah’s Witnesses live in.

Because while the organization may have stayed silent… our families didn’t. The shunning came anyway — without an announcement, without a committee, and without a single word from the platform.

If I remember correctly, the WTS has changed the announcement to "So-and-so is no longer one of Jehovah's witnesses." No mention in the announcement of "disfellowshipping." In days gone past, the WTS announcement also included the "sin" they committed. But that was stopped a long time ago about 50 years ago. (Legal reasons). (In the index of the WTS publications, it now says "Disfellowshipping (See Removal From the Congregation) trying to remove the concept of disfellowshipping). In the 2024 Watchtower August p.31, the WTS now says based on changed policy, "

    • *We will no longer refer to such ones as being disfellowshipped. In harmony with Paul’s words recorded at 1 Corinthians 5:13, we will now refer to them as being removed from the congregation.

Before the Organized to do Jehovah's Will book (2019) p. 151 (elder's manual) it said, "When it is necessary to disfellowship an unrepentant wrongdoer from the congregation, a brief announcement is made, stating: “[Name of person] is no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” This will alert faithful ones in the congregation to stop associating with that person

    I watched this video too.

Its interesting that the host of the show mentioned he was "out of the reach of the organization"

He outlined a galaxy on the screen and outlined in sarcasm how could the All Powerful God overlook him,,, on such a wide scale.

Should this become to fruition,,,,I imagine its all for,,,, of course,,, legal ramifications.

What other way would there be?

Yes but he refers to his “theory “ . I would await any announcement before saying they have changed anything from what Blondie noted above.
