You were trying so hard to be sensitive and to show love and compassion. You cannot help what those others do or how they act. How rude of them to directly confront someone about their religion. How unkind and unloving of them.
At some point, perhaps you will be able to speak with your co-worker and just say that you've "been there, done that, with the JW thing", and if the need ever arises, you truly understand their situation and would be willing to engage in conversation.
You never know where love and compassion will lead.

if they bother you go to your boss and say they are practicing religious discrimination against you. You have the right to free speech and use it to expose the lies scandals and failed doctrine and practices i would have a good time with them!
