I think it's just that he was looking so sickly in recent appearances .that they just did a really good makeover on him.
A couple of years ago, watching a JW broadcast video, (and sorry now I don't remember specifically which one) , there was a brother I had not seen before (or since) giving a talk, and somehow the look of it and his movements seemed somehow "off" to me, and I did wonder if it was a computer generated image
Perhaos they will experiment with AI, but already they are very manipulative in their use of video. The animated characters of Caleb and Sophia are spoken of as real people. Many never stop to think that the videos are scripted and staged, down to the camera angles used. When showing brothers transporting audio-visual equipment by bicycle and canoe to remote parts of Africa, it is somehow just assumed that this was a live real time event (Not thinking that cameras on the ground and above were following them to record the pictures, and also get the [staged] reactions of the brothers welcoming them when they arrive.) Also, does there just happen to be a camera set up inside a home to find the resident opening the door to find Witnesses on the doorstep?
When the 'Jade and Neeta' videos were being replayed at the meetings I happened to wonder aloud if the sisters playing the roles get recognized as they go about their normal lives, and the reaction of some was puzzled like "What do you mean playing the roles..?" Of course since then the GB update has reminded witnesses not to 'idolize" those appearing in the videos.
