You’re giving too much credence to just another version of a controversial control cult. Generally started by a lunatic who attracts like minded individuals.

The “Truth” of Christianity started by a no body. Taking someone else’s idea and tweaking it up.

Sure, Jesus himself inspected all of the religions and found that only the WTS (started by a no body), was giving the world God’s divine words to us all….🤢

    what a crock

That’s true of every single belief system. Whatever you decide to believe about the universe someone could say get out of Babylon.

All religious belief systems or non religious belief systems about how the universe started could be called a social experiment. Even agnostic or apathetic belief systems.

I personally think that having a basic belief system about how the universe came to be is better that apathetic. But it’s best to be agnostic as anything other than agnostic is pure arrogance IMHO.

I still think it’s better to have some hope in the Bible or similar than none, but be agnostic about your hope. It may not be true, but this basic hope grounds you. Adds strength and stability to a family. Even if you say I hope it’s got some truth to it even though it may not have.

Someone like Lloyd Evans would be better off having some relative stability of a religion whatever that may be.

he has made a proper mess of his life. If he went to a church or Kingdom Hall or mosque it would add some stability. His life would not be the train wreck that it currently is.

When a person looks at the sheer volume of Watchtower lies, denial of Salvation, free labor, false prophecies, misrepresentations, gas-lighting and falsehoods about everything and anything, it makes me wonder if it's one big test to see how gullible people can be.

As most have said here, this applies to almost every faith-based belief system, which includes every religion.
