According to The Finished Mystery (aka Studies in the Scriptures, volume VII) the 'locusts' were Methodists, starting with John Wesley in 1728. Of course, there's no mention of that in any modern Watch Tower Society literature at all.

About the Recent Annual Meeting, JW GoneBad mentioned about the rumor they have changed their doctrine again back to their old light!
Rumor is that WT has flip flopped once again on Joel Chapter 2 about the application of the Locust and have reversed 2019 new light...WT is back to saying...
"Yes indeed the prophet Joel was comparing the activity of Jehovah’s Witnesses to the actions of locusts." 🤣
