i got a wonderful b-day present (april 25), besides the acoustic guitar my boyfriend gave me.
it was a week late, though.
friday may 2 i received a general under honorable conditions discharge from the army. got a cool certificate too. i guess that's why they call it "not as good as an honorable discharge, but still 'good paper'".
where do i go from here, you say. well, i put in a bunch of resumes for jobs, but until someone calls me, my kids and i will be staying in a "transitions" shelter (yes, its a homeless shelter, but it sounds so much more dignified). we'll be okay. the only thing i worry about is losing my car, but i can work that out.
