JW email about fornication

I got this email recently from a JW friend:

One Person's Sobering Experience (please read)

I've recently had a very thought provoking experience.
I was playing basketball with some guys I used to know from High school.
Like all basketball players we were talking trash.

I noticed there was a DRESS SUIT hanging up on the fence.
So I said to one of the guys (who I knew from high school),
"After I finish beating you.. why don't you put on your suit and head
    home."
He then replied, "You know that's YOUR suit from pioneering!. "
I wondered to myself how does he know about pioneering.

So after the game I questioned him.
"What do you know about pioneering?"
By this time one of his friends had walked over.
They looked at each other and said
    " We know a lot about your religion . . .
" I thought perhaps they may have studied before.

SO I QUESTIONED THEM SOME MORE
AND... I FOUND OUT THEY HAD STUDIED BEFORE.

BUT THIS WHAT REALLY SHOCKED ME ABOUT THEIR STUDYING HABITS.
They would only pretend that they were interested in studying,
and would only ask young single pioneer sisters to help them learn more
    about
    Jehovah.
Once they gained their trust they would then convince the spiritually
    weak
    girls
    to fornicate with them.

I thought to myself....these guys only wish they were able to do that to
    our
    sisters.
I could not penetrate the spiritual ranks of our dear sisters in that
    way.
But then these guys started to name sisters who I personally knew,
and who were disfellowshipped because of engaging in immortality with
    them.
    .
Afterwards, they were laughing and bragging about what they had
    accomplished..

One guy said " Do you know how many I took out of the religion already"
Those evil words stabbed me and stayed with me for a while.
I thought to myself it must be tough, to be a Christian sister.
I mean, after all no one wants to be physically, emotionally or even
    spiritually alone.
And some times many baptized brothers may not be eligible for a marriage
    partner.
But how could they let their guard down for such low-life men in the
    world.

    BUT THE TRUTH IS
Can you trust someone who is not a dedicated servant of Jehovah....
not to say all our Christian brothers are perfect.
But there are alot of predators who only goal is to destroy your
    relationship
    with Jehovah.
(And this counsel also equally applies to our Christian brothers).

Conversely there are a lot of sincere people honestly seeking the truth.
The faithful and discreet slave class suggest if we were out in the
    ministry
and ran into some one of the opposite sex who is interested,
we should turn the call over to someone qualified and of the same sex.

This is really good counsel as well as common sense.
Consider why you need to apply this counsel, my good friends.
The main reason should apply it is the love you have for Jehovah.

Now my friend got it from a second hand source himself, so he can't verify whether it's true or not, but I strongly suspect this is made up, of course. There are many things that can be said about this story, but the first thing I thought was "why is someone carrying a suit with them while playing basketball?".

    hey Crownboy

This is totally made up. Not a single shred of truth to it. I bet some CO is using as an illustration even now.

No, I'm sure there's some truth to it. A brother was probably playing ball with someone who said "Oh yeah, I dated a Jehovah's Witness girl a long time ago, but we broke up when she wanted me to go to meetings."

What struck me as maybe a Freudian slip and a silly typo were the following:

penetrate the spiritual ranks of our dear sisters in that
    way.
But then these guys started to name sisters who I personally knew,
and who were disfellowshipped because of engaging in immortality

And why do they use such hackneyed phrases ad nauseum

I wouldn't really know. But it sounds a bit made up to me. Why would the men tell him their whole plan and blow their cover if they were actually doing such a thing? Why is there a dress suit just sitting on the fence that belongs to nobody?

Honestly, these types of stories always seem to pop up to cause fear and paranoia.... Does a talking/walking smurf ring a bell?

I'm not saying it's true or false. But it sounds a bit blown out of proportion.

and why was this "brother" with a "pioneering suit" associating with worldlies, next email will be that he is now fornicating too

I think this is JW folklore. Only a JW would be so presumptuous to think or say a suit would lead to a "spiritual" discussion.

    GAG!

This reminds me of the stories you hear at District and Circuit conventions relayed as "experiences"...

An example of a circumstance when I was young that helped me realize that the JW were a lie was I attended my regular Circuit Assembly and listened attentively. I was roughly 15 years old. Being the zealous, young, aspiring pioneer wanna-soon-be MS/elder, I volunteered for special work on the facility to be done a few weeks later. Conveniently, you are specifically instructed not to go inside and disturb the current Assembly, being told that since you are in "regular clothing" and not in dress attire.. and that "since you have already enjoyed Jehovah's provision, let these brothers and sisters do the same etc".. but I had to use the bathroom at one point.. and while inside I heard the SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE.. EVEN DOWN TO THE FAMILY NAME AND VOICES BEING SPEWED OVER THE PLATFORM JUST IN A DIFFERENT CIRCUIT.

The Jehovah's Witnesses disgust me. I hate them.

Does anyone perhaps have one of those little barf bags they give you on the aeroplane?

I know what you mean SYN. When I read never-changing, regurgitated BS the Watchtower Society spews out to it's members, it makes me feel the sudden need to vomit.

I can literally feel the nausea and the bile coming back into my throat.

I HATE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES AND I HATE THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY.
