There has always been a division among "thinkers", ponderers, Philosophers, and Imagineers along two distinct lines:

    1. Reality is what we 'think' it is (or worse: into being).
    2. Reality exists whether we encounter it, acknowledge it, or not.

Is it Primacy of Consciousness? The primacy of Existence?
"Delusion is the inability or unwillingness fully to grasp the difference between one’s inner state and the outer world".

Thanks to Earnest and peacefulpete for the critical remarks.

Already back in April some problems were delineated:

Evangelicals have been suckers before for such sensationalist claims, like the supposed first-century manuscript of Mark's gospel, later shown to be a hoax.

And while this debate goes on, GOD if he does exist, doesn`t give a shit.

"the ABR team failed to get permission for the Mt. Ebal sifting project from either the Palestinian Authority or Israel’s Staff Officer for Archaeology of the Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria, calling into question the legality of the project and the find. Additionally, the ABR team did not receive an export license to take the tablet out of the country for analysis, as is required by Israeli law." Not fishy at all this find is it ? All done like true professionals ....not. It strikes me that if it was as early as claimed this could be proof of the god called Yahweh by us as being part of the Canaanite pantheon before the adoption as a main god of their tribes by the Israelites. Not at all what Bible believers wish to believe.
