New GB member Judy Jedele critizing Job's "humility" while wearing $20,000 Rolex, gold cuff links, coloured suit. Incredible!

I've seen old photos of Fred Franz...

    Yes.

Fred Franz, who would wear a tie with a flannel work shirt is made fun of in some circles, but I'm not so sure that was a bad thing.

    Doesn't look like a rolex.

I am a 35 year member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors. It is impossible to be 100% positive of the make, model and current value of any watch by a photograph. Without the watch in hand, it is pure conjecture that Mr. Jedele is wearing a ROLEX.

What I saw was the typical JW uniform. A non-tailored, off the rack, ill fitting, cheap suit. What makes you think his watch was a Rolex? Maybe Timex.

Come on man…. There is no view of the watch. Im an avid amateur horologist and reject both the assumption that its a rolex and the price cited. Secondary markets are the primary markets for rolex and older two tone subs can be had for 10k.

Stop with the dramatics and let their flawed theology speak for itself

As I said, do you any of you really think these guys head on down to Canal Street and buy fake Rolex's to wear when they're already worth millions like Jody? LOL! You're cracked in the head!

"I am a 35 year member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors".

What's your point? And I live mere miles from the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA. Toured RGM in Mt Joy years ago with a tour group. (Fun Fact: Roland G. Murphy is an Elder at Mt Joy, and a pompous ASS!)

If you seriously can't tell a Rolex clasp by close examination of that 3 minute clip (stopping when you see the Rolex crown on the fold over clasp release) than you either: 1.) need to have your eyes examined or 2.) need to hand in your membership and hang up the loop.

Also, a USED two-tone Rolex Sky Dweller or Daytona goes for $20,000 +. USED.

I see the WT apologists are alive and well on here, just like they are on the Ex-JW reddit page. Keep on kissin' those GB "Pope rings", you Bethel tool bags!

I worked as a Jeweler's apprentice in my youth. How the hands move, and sound, combined with a gold test is the standard.

Regardless, WHY would a genuine follower of Christ..make a "showy display" of wealth...or even a pretend one? How fitting if these objects were fake...just like Watchtower? :)

My grand uncle, a long-time elder, wears a very expensive vintage gold watch. He's a retired teacher. Not rich. The watch was a gift. It was also a thrift store find. My aunt found it and paid thirty-five dollars. Don't presume things, turning them into "facts."

"What's your point?" My point is that in 35 years of watch collecting I have held dozens of real and fake Rolex's in my hand and have sold both. Only a FOOL would make a 100% positive claim of the genuineness of a watch without having it in their hands in order to examine it. Are you referring to me a Watchtower apologist? If so, that would be another ignorant and unfounded claim.
