How about the proliferation of rats throughout the state carrying serious diseases. It's for real - typhus/bubonic plague, measles - I have liberal friends who never want to return there. Ocean water being contaminated with all this horror - this is not good. Oceans/Orange County are home of the mammoth blue whale along with many others -- just scary/insane.
