    Praise Jehovah with His People

    w73 7/1 pp. 401-407

4 Consider, too, the fact that Jehovah’s organization alone, in all the earth, is directed by God’s holy spirit or active force. (Zech. 4:6) Only this organization functions for Jehovah’s purpose and to his praise. To it alone God’s Sacred Word, the Bible, is not a sealed book. Many persons of the world are very intelligent, capable of understanding complex matters. They can read the Holy Scriptures, but they cannot understand their deep meaning. Yet God’s people can comprehend such spiritual things. Why? Not because of special intelligence on their part, but as the apostle Paul declared: “For it is to us God has revealed them through his spirit, for the spirit searches into all things, even the deep things of God.” (1 Cor. 2:10) Jesus Christ praised his heavenly Father for ‘hiding such things from the wise and intellectual ones but revealing them to babes.’ (Matt. 11:25) How very much true Christians appreciate associating with the only organization on earth that understands the “deep things of God”!

Jeffrey Jackson is asked under oath from an Australian Royal Commission lawyer, ''and do you see yourselves as Jehovah God's spokespeople on earth?

Jeffrey Jackson's answer should have been, ''Jehovah’s organization alone, in all the earth, is directed by God’s holy spirit or active force. Only this organization functions for Jehovah’s purpose and to his praise.''

How does Jeffrey Jackson's weasel himself out with this easy question, considering he is a member of the Governing Body?

Jehovah's Witnesses are the world's most accomplished expert liars.

    We all did it too.

"Oh we are not here to get you to change your religion, we're just here at your door encouraging bible reading. Would you like a free home bible study?"

Yes Im sure that was a real eye opener to a lot of people. Every JW knows that the org claim they are the only channel God is using. Hopefully that statement helped a lot of witnesses to break free from the cult

My JW family would just claim that the video was "altered" by some evil apostate.

The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.

    W/tower February 2017 p26 par 12.

New light probably due to his admission to ARC .

    12. Since the Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible, what questions arise?

12 The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction. In fact, the Watch Tower Publications Index includes the heading “Beliefs Clarified,” which lists adjustments in our Scriptural understanding since 1870. Of course, Jesus did not tell us that his faithful slave would produce perfect spiritual food. So how can we answer Jesus’ question: “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?” (Matt. 24:45) What evidence is there that the Governing Body is filling that role? Let us consider the same three factors that directed the governing body in the first century.

I think they put that piece about being fallible to cover themselves because of all the child abuse issues and because so many know about 1975 and the UN scandal.

I think Jackson was sneakily referring to Jehovah using others for the “out working of his purpose”. That could include missionaries, elders giving talks, pioneers doing a Bible study, even worldly politicians if it moves “Armageddon” via the Great Tribulation nearer. At least that’s how he would justify that little speech to himself, as would PIMI witnesses, too.

Jackson promised to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth under oath to Jehovah. Instead he chose to bare false witness and mislead the court.

Yes Alanv, a real eye opener it was.

Jackson lying under oath about the claim of claims was the final nail in the coffin. That summer of 2015 changed everything...
