How Does WT Explain away, "Absent from the Body, Present with the Lord"?

    The apostles along with the other anointed dead apparently were given a spiritual body in the spring of 1918 and were raised to heavenly life, The currently living anointed join them immediately at their death.

    How does this soul, without a body, interact in heaven (in any religious teaching)?

    Apparently, fairly well. But, the souls want their bodies back so they can be whole again.... as originally designed, but with a major systems upgrade. But, still a physical body.

    Phil. 3: 21 - Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body - KJV

    First, that was Paul and he didn't know everything. He wrote to the anointed back then.

    His lack of knowledge lead to the rapture belief.

    When person who had been anointed with holy spirit, dies and is resurrected, that one will be with the Lord.

    Simple as that.

    @Rattigan:

    These verses are not taking about a resurrection. A resurrection ONLY occurs when the soul, body and spirit of a person is rejoined.

    Dead souls can talk, remember and feel:

    'I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

    10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

    11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled'. - Rev. 6:9-11

    This is no different from the JW teaching. JW teaches that people are resurrected, but with "a major systems upgrade. But still a physical body". Aka, a perfect body.

    The verse makes sense with JW teaching as far as I can see. Can you explain what you consider to be problematic?

    It is totally different than WT teaching and we all know it.

    We can agree that JW and your faith BOTH have people living again in perfect physical bodies after death.
