How sick and sanctimonious can the scumbags at Brooklyn get?

In the very last Kingdom Ministry ever concocted, here is what is being presented to congregations as "spiritual food":

    WEEK STARTING DECEMBER 28

15 min: Pray for Your Brothers. Discussion.

"Start by having Acts 12:1-11 read. Consider pertinent points from the Bearing Witness book, pages 77-80, paragraphs 5-12. Thereafter, mention recent items posted on jw.org under "Newsroom."

Encourage all to pray for members of our worldwide brotherhood who have been affected by various trials, even mentioning them by name if possible."

The next item is a Local Needs talk - no doubt it will be used to guilt the congregation into helping those booted out of bed & board by the "unfaithful & disgusting slave."

Hmm....various trials, various trials....whatever could they mean?

Maybe something like, being tossed out on the street, after 20 or 30 or even 40 years of Bethel, missionary or special pioneer service, just at the very moment when their medical expenses will start to climb, when they are virtually unemployable due to age, when they will have virtually no chance to earn even a basic minimum government pension?

Being tossed out by an organization which, for generations, had an implied contract with its volunteers, that they would be "taken care of" for life? Tossed out by that organization with nothing more than an appeal to "rely on Jehovah"?

    Those kinds of various trials?

Yeah, those poor saps need all the help they can get.

The "faithless & despicable slave" has clearly prepared numerous excuses , as is shown in the December KM.

These items will be put on after the Annual Meeting tomorrow - so we'll see some of the spin.

    Newsroom! Hahahahahaha.

It's not as if their "news" is balanced and unbiased.

I noticed there was nothing about the testimony of Geoffy Jackson down in Oz!

    Let's review: It's a cult!

Dear God, please help Brothers Morris, Lett, Jackson, Sanderson, Splane, Sleepy and Dopey to cope when the flock and the rest of the world finally see what total and utter bastards they are and start leaving the religion in droves and the world's media start coming after them.

    Lord,

please help Br. Geoffrey Jackson to show courage and honesty the next time he is questioned about his beliefs. When he must answer to the worldly authorities, please pour your holy spirit upon him so that he may give truthful answers. Help him to see the importance of standing by the teachings of your earthly organization. Give him insight and discernment that his utterances are consistent with the beliefs of his fellow witnesses. Where we are taught that the 'faithful and discreet slave' are your channel for imparting instruction and understanding to your faithful people, please help Br. Jackson boldly witness in harmony with these teachings. Help all our dear brothers and sisters who have been stumbled by his outrageous behaviour. Help all those who witnessed his testimony to realize that Br. Jackson is just an imperfect man. Please forgive Br. Jackson for his obfuscation and unclear responses at the Australian Royal Commission. Forgive Br. Jackson for being evasive and avoiding confrontation for his own personal interests. Forgive Br. Jackson for not standing up boldly to give a great witness for your name. Forgive Br. Geoffrey Jackson as he forgives others their sins.

    In the name of Jesus,

    Amen.

Don't mean to be obtuse. I don't understand what's objectionable. Can you spell it out?

Apparently the more people that pray, the more likely Jehovah will help , especially if you mention them by name. I wonder if it would be helpful to include their middle initial and mailing address. I mean, it would be a shame if he helped a worldly person named Geoffry Jackson instead of the Geoffry Jackson who really needs help right now.

Oh Esse! That was golden! Well said indeed! Sadly though, I doubt even the almighty would help someone who denied him when on the stand....
