  BlueSapphire, what a wonderful husband you have. After I was disfellowshipped for disagreeing with the elders, my husband and I would occasionally run into other JWs. They would carry on a conversation as though I wasn't there.

  This made me very upset!

  Actually, we both disagreed but he did didn't have the balls to stand up to the elders. He even encouraged me to tell them what they wanted to hear so I wouldn't get the boot. I wanted out, any way I could.

  Needless to say, the marriage ended after 22 years.

  i persoanlly would try the killing with kindness bit. in my family i only have one sibling who shuns me but i am nice to her and i think it makes her feel bad in fact i know it does but she feels like she is doing the right thing, oh well someday she will see the light and then won't she feel dumb
