"With every good wish: Your Brothers The Governing Body"

Why would the Governing Body close such an important announcement with the phrase: "With every good wish"?

    From Wiki regarding wishes:

Some cultures have customs in which people are encouraged to "make a wish", such as blowing out the candles on a birthday cake, seeing a shooting star at night, tossing a coin into a wishing well or fountain or breaking the wishbone of a cooked turkey. Many believe such wishes can only come true if they are kept a secret from other people. Others, on the other hand, believe that wishes come true only if they are told to someone else.[citation needed] Others view wish fulfillment as a bad faith self-delusion.

Lol. That's a nice reference about making wishes. Herd may as well have said "Good Luck to you all."

Like I said a couple pages back, I simply think that enough "conscious-classers" have finally just up and quit donating.

If the amount of love that the borg have is shown by how many 1000s of people they are kicking out from bethel etc they wont give a cent for the rank and file and i think lots of people know that so they go through the motions of jw life including giving money and why loads dont leave is because they dont want to be shunned by their family. So its coming back to bite the borg with the emontional blackmail of shunning you get loads of people who dont want to be there. If they had any sense they would stop shunning so that loads of people would go and they could then sell loads of kingdom halls

The WT leaders are just TOO arrogant and prideful to ever admit that their ignorant handling of the finances of the organization has caused this deficit requiring cutbacks. WT leaders have NEVER admitted to mistakes - whether it's about their child abuse policies or handling of finances - because they act like they CANNOT be in error due to allegedly being appointed by " God's holy spirit " - thus in their own minds they are not only deceiving themselves , but deceiving over 8 million people to throw caution to the wind by extorting millions of $$$$ for WT leaders own purposes. To keep a 136 year old organization going at all costs. Even though it's not financially prudent. They don't give a shit. It's " let's steer this organization into a financial iceberg and see if it stays afloat " . " Jehovah " didn't protect the Titanic, he sure as hell won't protect WT leaders from making stupid decisions

    This.

It's interesting... the "concept that they're captive to" has, arguably, been the Org's greatest strength.

Would it be premature to suggest, however, that the leadership's unwavering commitment to that concept is turning it into the Org's greatest weakness?
