Ok in the Academy Award of threads this gets my vote as the sweetest thread ever...I think two of my teeth rotted out while typing here...

Tex you have such adorable kids, and it's very cool that they get included in this website too. It was very nice to meet them while we were in Dallas.

You do still have the bear! That is just too cool! A bear from London England who travelled to the USA to live with you! Cool bear huh!

Those photo's of you both are wonderful, thank you for sharing those with us. I cant believe how much you look like your dad!

Hopefully your mum & dad will be coming to England in the near future, go and twist their arm into saving for buying those flight tickets, then we could all meet up.

Its been great chatting to you and I do so appreciate this thread and having the oppurtunity to have chatted to you, now take care of yourself like you have taken good care of Bear and Puffy bear, and maybe we will get to meet you all soon.

THANK you Jennie you little star

I still dont know how to edit my posts so if anyone can help out..?

Blackout I dont live in that Farmhouse, I just have a little humble 2bed house about 5 doors up the hill from it, but the village is lovely and only a speck of the beautiful places around here. You should come here and get to see the South-West of England, it is beautiful but I do miss city life to a degree.

2 teeth rotting...rofl @ Jo! I agree this is such a real sweet thing for Jennie to do, thanks again Jennie.

    Edited to add

YIPEEEEEEEEEEE I can edit... Thanks BigTex, I have been hijacking peoples threads asking how to do this editing bit! Its been a pleasure chatting with your little angel, she is soOo cute, give he a huge hug for us. See you on this side of the big pond soon hopefully, start saving.

Howdy Brumm! Well first you click on the title of the thread. Then at the bottom of your post is the option to edit. Click on that and you're ready to rock and roll.

Thanks for being so sweet with Jennie. She's walking on air at the moment and feeling oh so grown up. She's been dying to post on this forum anyway, and we've been telling her she needs to wait a few years so she's delighted to be able to participate.

I love your location! Looks fantastic. Gee, I really miss hopping over the pond and seeing the greatness of the UK. Well, time to start saving the pennies!

    Thanks again Brumm.

    That's so sweet!

A teddy bear never hurt anyone, even moreso from a youngster.

Brummie, pretty neat-o area you are living in. Just for the go-karts, I'd visit....(varooom!! as Rayzorblade screeches past Brummie) - (and passing on the left not right ).

Big Tex, that was an adorable post. Nice to bring some light hearted charm into the forum.

Awwwwwwww I got tears in my eyes,,,,,over this sweet sweet thread. My Kelly is 9 also, almost 10, and boy do they grow up fast.

Big Tex, I can see you so much in your daughter, seeing her makes me imagine what you must have looked like as a child. You can tell your daughter and son, are very happy children, and very loved.

It's it wonderful to look into our children's eyes and see a little bit of ourselves, maybe at their age and remember our own innocence and just how precious we were . I think that is part of our healing to embrace the child that we once were and to love ourselves, and to cry for the lost child.

I am so proud of you Big Tex , you and Nina just warm my heart and I have learned alot from both of you. Give my love to the family and give Nina a special hug, and let her know I think of her daily.

Gee thanks! I didn't think she noticed the avatars but one day we got on a discussion about it and she was very animated (no pun intended). She also got a big kick out of sitting on my lap and picking out which emoticon to use. She wants to be an artist when she grows up, so she's attracted to colors moreso than words.

Well aren't you a sweetie! And yes you're right, they do grow up fast (I can't believe it's been 9 years!!!) and none moreso than Jennie. She wants so badly to be grown up. Even when she was little (like under 2) she would say to us, "I'm not little!" Personally I think she was born 35. I do want to share you with you that when I brought them up to the Bradford, I did so mainly because of Jennie. She was dying of curiousity and she wanted to see what was going on that was so interesting. When we went into Animal's room, she scoped everything out thoroughly with narrowed eyes and a very determined, but curious, face. Fortunately Valis had "cleaned" things up a bit.

Thank you for being so sweet to Nina. You don't know how much it helped her having you there at Dunston's. She knew your experience and so that added meaning and comfort for her since the wound was so fresh. And I am deeply touched by your words. I think you and WT are doing a great job. I gotta admit, I'm envious of your son being able to play football. But that's what parenting is about isn't it? Giving more than you received. Take care Dede.
