    Good evening,

I am in search of recent articles in the watchtower, or in other articles that are available on jw.org, that explain that one has to be part of the organisation as a condition for salvation.

I can only find articles on sites other than jw.org that are from before the year 2000.

It is for discussions with a JW, so I can only use things from jw.org.

    Thanks in advance

Here's one of the latest ones:

    w12 3/15 page 20:

The other sheep should never forget that their salvation depends on their active support of Christ’s anointed “brothers” still on earth.

w83 2/15 p. 12 You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth—But How?

"A third requirement is that we be associated with God’s channel, his organization. God has always???? used an organization. For example, only those in the ark in Noah’s day survived the Flood, and only those associated with the Christian congregation in the first century had God’s favor.* (Acts 4:12) Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it."

    * Oh yeah?

(Mark 9:40, 41) "For whoever is not against us is for us. And whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ, I tell you truly, he will by no means lose his reward."

You might ask them what a person's chances are of surviving Armageddon if he or she is not a Jehovah's Witness.

Being part of the JW.ORG is an essential and sine quo non condition to allow this US organization to be successful in their number one target : Management of Their Worldwide Property Business.

"Do you feel that you are the only people that will survive Armageddon?"

"Come to Jehovah's organization for salvation." WT 11-15-81 p.21

"To receive everlasting life in the earthly paradise, we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it." WT 2-15-83 p.12

"Bible students...must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah's organization is essential to their salvation." Our Kingdom Ministry, November, 1990

kings and priests with Christ in his Kingdom. (Luke 12:32; Rev. 5:9, 10) The far more numerous "great crowd" of "other sheep" share the hope of living forever on a paradise earth as subjects of the Messianic Kingdom. (Rev. 7:9, 10; John 10:16) The other sheep should never forget that their salvation depends on their active support of Christ's anointed "brothers" still on earth.

"Can Jehovah's Witnesses today take part in this obviously "modern version of idolatry" and actually "imputing of salvation to a person or an organization"?
As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry -- be it worshipful gestures toward an image or symbol or the imputing of salvation to a person or an organization."(Watchtower, November 1, 1990 p. 26 – e.m.)

Those who do good things for Jesus' "brothers" because these anointed ones are his followers have the hope of surviving "the day of Jehovah."
    (Watchtower, September 15, 1997 p. 17)

"Yes! genuine Christians are now being gathered into a united brotherhood earth wide. Who are they? They are the Christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses..." (Watchtower, July 1, 1994 p. 7)

"The Scriptures strongly support the conclusion that at Armageddon Jehovah will destroy the peoples of the earth, saving only those who obey his commandments to stand by his organization."
    (Jehovah's Witnesses - Proclaimers of God's Kingdom, 1993, p. 170)

"Especially since 1925, The Watchtower has shown from the scriptures that there are just two principal organizations - Jehovah's and Satan's. And, as 1John 5:19 states, 'the whole world' - that is, all mankind outside of Jehovah's organization - 'is lying in the power of the wicked one.'"
    (Jehovah's Witnesses - Proclaimers of God's Kingdom, 1993, pp. 676-677)

"We will be impelled to serve Jehovah loyally with his organization if we remember that there is nowhere else to go for life eternal."
    (Watchtower, November 15, 1992 p. 21 - "Serve Jehovah Loyally"

"Bible students need to get acquainted with the organization of the "one flock" Jesus spoke about at John 10:16. They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah's organization is essential to their salvation. (Rev. 7:9, 10, 15) Therefore, we should start directing our Bible students to the organization as soon as a Bible study is established."
    (Our Kingdom Ministry, November 1990 p. 1)

"You must be part of Jehovah's organization, doing God's will, in order to receive his blessing of eternal life." (You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth p.255)

"Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil."
    (Watchtower, September 1, 1989 p. 19)

"What does God require of those who will reside forever upon his Paradise earth? Jesus Christ identified a first requirement when he said in prayer to his Father: 'This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.' Many have found the second requirement more difficult. It is to obey God's laws. The third requirement is that we be associated with God's channel, his organization. The fourth requirement is connected with loyalty. God requires that prospective subjects of his Kingdom support his government by loyally advocating his Kingdom rule to others." (Watchtower, February 15, 1983 p. 12)

"In this way only lovers of God and of his family, his organization, will survive and enter into the cleansed earth that is to be transformed into a glorious Paradise." (Watchtower, December 15, 1982 p. 27 - Clothing Ourselves With Love and Wearing It)

"Any person who wants to survive into God's righteous new order urgently needs to come into a right relationship with Jehovah and His earthly organization now." (Watchtower, November 15, 1981 pp. 16-17)

"And while now the witness yet includes the invitation to come to Jehovah's organization for salvation, the time no doubt will come when the message takes on a harder tone, like a 'great war cry.'"
    (Watchtower, November 15, 1981 p. 21)

"Your attitude toward the wheatlike annointed 'brothers' of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into 'everlasting life.'” (Watchtower, August 1, 1981 p. 26)

"To keep in relationship with 'our Savior God,'the 'great crowd 'needs to remain united with the remnant of spiritual Israelites.'"
    (Watchtower, November 15, 1979 p. 27)

"If we want to assure our everlasting salvation, we must stay within the bounds of Jehovah God's loving provision associated with his visible organization, presided over by his High Priest."
    (Watchtower, August 15, 1967 p. 503)

In that parable, Christ clearly showed that the salvation of the other sheep is closely linked to their conduct toward the anointed, whom he called “my brothers.”

  • 11. On what does our salvation depend?

11 In any case, our salvation depends, not on anything we might do, but on Jehovah’s undeserved kindness through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Paul clearly explained: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom paid by Christ Jesus.” However, our works are proof of our active faith in God’s promises.—Romans 3:23, 24; James 2:17, 18, 24.
