? Acts 4:12, or Romans10:13 JEHOVAH OR JESUS
Can anyone answer this please? Romans 10: 13 says for everyone who calls on the name of jehovah will be saved, Acts4:12 says there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among by which we must get saved?????????????? thanks nojw
The greek says-Kupiou-translates-Lord-Jehovah is never
written in the N. T.
Answer what? Roman 10:13 refers to Jehovah and Act 4:12 refers to Jesus.
Wrong again as usual your knuckleheadedness. Crossroads is correct. The word in the Greek is translated LORD. There is absolutely no indication that the writer meant Jehaovah (except for the fact that the writer recognized the divinity of Jesus). In fact, In Romans 10:9 Paul writes "for if you confess with your mouth that JESUS is LORD, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Roman's 10:13 then, if taken in context with the rest of the text when it says "For everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." clearly shows that Paul was refereing to Jesus as this self same LORD. The WTBTS in an attempt to fool the flock, translated the greek LORD as jehovah. What nonsense. Curious that Paul, while clearly stating that Jesus is Lord, also is quoting from JOEL 3:5 which only supports the doctrine of the divinity of Christ. When Joel wrote these words, he meant Jehovah God, Paul clearly identfies Jesus as the target of the word LORD. Thus yes, Jesus is Lord and God, just as Thomas exclaimed.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
