Maybe Yahweh was cranky and moody!

Remember that the aroma burning flesh, is conductive to a rest when bigh J smells it.

    The whole episode is hogwash.

To begin with, neither animals or humans ate flesh before the big drowning.

Who instructed Abel to kill the animals so that he would know which parts were the best? If he used the lambs tor wool or maybe milk only, wouldm't it be natural that he offered those things that were the best?

Why would a god who needs nothing want Abel to kill those animals as a sacrifice to him?

This was a story concocted so that the priestly class would have a sure income. They wanted the first of all. Why did it have to be whe first born? Was Abel trying to send a message to Cain since Cain was the first born?

    That included humans.
