Could you tell me why Society has stopped selling parking tickets for the conventions or distric assemblies?

Hey:
Can anyone tell me when they started to sell tickets for parking at the conventions? Is this something that was recently started then stopped? Forgive my ignorance but the last assembly I attended i think was in early 98 and i can't remember ever being asked to buy parking tickets. Could this perhaps be something that differs from region to region? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Society used to charge for parking tickets.
they did it at the kingdom halls.
Last year I Paid $4.00 per day. -

done @ kingdom halls , it may be considered a donation......done at a location it may be illegal.............unless they charge sales tax and pay sales tax to the state.........

at a sporting event , if parking is charged for, tax is included ......ask for a receipt.....if the JWS have been doing this all along..they would be
breakin D LAW...since they dont pay no stinkin taxes.......
