Could "this generation" inspire a new "1975 debacle"?

Everything nonsense they bring out, the watchtower zombies will swallow it wholeheartedly no matter how deluded it seems

Bear in mind that 20xx would not be the date prediction for the end but merely the maximum projected deadline for the end. They could play up this technicality to emphasize that they're not making a prediction of when the end is coming but merely pointing out the finite lifespan of "this generation" and that the end can come well before that date.

That way they can create the effect of a date prediction while at the same time not making an actual date prediction and emphasizing the point that they aren't making a date prediction. That way, the dubs will be more inclined to accept the non-prediction without Matthew 24:36 causing them any cognitive dissonance.

Many of you had pointed out to 2034. I believe that currently WT is trying to get rid off through biological mean (natural death) of people who remember the nonsense of generation of 1914 which was popular until 1990. Remember all the buzz in the 1980's when the generation was above the grave when people in WT claimed that Armageddon is imminent. 30 years later all these people from 1914 generations are gone. Within next 20 years majority of JWs who were buzzed high on the last years of the old world would be gone as well. After this biological exchange we can see any change of the WT theology. Many JWs are not aware that Russel predicted the end in his lifetime and that the end of the system started in 1799(!).

I have heard it first "mouth" from an elder that the message is about to change. It's going to be about the end as opposed to the opportunity to live forever on earth as a cow, sheep or some other low ranking survivor of the big A.

It's going to be something like the proclamations of poor old Jeremiah who got thrown into a cesspit for proclaiming "the end".

Therefore, build your' bunkers, buy canned food, stock up on some medication or home grown. Or just carry on doing the best you can to your fellow man.

Mind you, it's safe to say many's the elder who has indulged in his own speculation. Elders are as much in the dark about what's coming up next in terms of doctrinal adjustments or changes as the rank and file.

The expectations, speculations and anticipations just keep coming from this idiotic organization, regardless of how often "The Faithful and Discreet Slave" issues warnings against such memery, because that same "Faithful and Discreet Slave" is the primary violator of these warnings and the leading source of all the bullshit expectations, speculations and anticipations!

That is why years ago ( about 12 years ago), when the series of "just as the days of Noah" nonsense was going on, those of us who had been around and had our eyes open were able to confidently predict that a new date was gestating.

There has been a lot of talk about the year 2035. Could this come to fruition I wonder?
