A ship (no matter how big) will ultimately sink if it has a hole

Humanity is like a ship, and holes are our hobbies (lust, greed etc. which are fondly renamed as each one likes) which always have been outperforming what Science could accomplish!

Most of the greater or significant scientific achievements started from 19th century—may be with the commercial transmission of electricity! Thus many scientific equipments were invented which added to the comfort and convenience of humans who should have got more spare time now as much of the things they used to do manually are now done by machines in far greater speed and quantity. Yet most humans are busier and suffering from tension than ever always complaining about shortage of time. (Thus situation is comparable to a businessman who makes $1000 daily, yet unwittingly causes a liability of $2000 daily.)

See what unrestrained lust has done. In 1927 world population was just two billion, and it increased to seven billion in 2012 (in less than a century), thus most of the good contributions of Science exist as though they were never invented.

Look at the way the Titanic film was made, it is the reproduction of a great maritime disaster that happened in 20th C, yet its producers included a love-making scene which exposes the lust (of two people who are not married to each other) just before the disaster—something that never happened in the actual history.

This explains how the scriptures were also corrupted. Scriptures were originally written to show how the Law of Cause and Consequences works. Then it was interpolators’ turn to add Krishna having many wives, Solomon having many wives and concubines, David having many wives, concubines and further murdering his faithful servant to snatch his beautiful to add to his harem, still escaping death punishment, all of which presents a God who is evolving to the human standard.

Entertainment industry thrives on filling the movies with lust, greed and violence, which people copy later in their lives. Some of the high profile terrorist attack had its precedence in movies.

Interestingly, Einstein indirectly admitted that only an agency superior to humans can solve our problems: "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

    holes are our hobbies ????
The great achievements often started as hobbies. Look at Steve Job it was not his job.
If we just stick with such hobbies, even Einstein, we will be just fine.

you seem to be a great storyteller iconoclastic.

    take this for example

This explains how the scriptures were also corrupted. Scriptures were originally written to show how the Law of Cause and Consequences works. Then it was interpolators’ turn to add Krishna having many wives, Solomon having many wives and concubines, David having many wives, concubines and further murdering his faithful servant to snatch his beautiful to add to his harem, still escaping death punishment, all of which presents a God who is evolving to the human standard.

I suspect that it was the other way round actually in that the scriptures became less and less 'corrupted' to reflect higher morality instead of lower carnality. On the other hand we like to reflect on things from many points of view and it is much more rewarding to try to imagine this going on in scriptural texts.

I used the word “unrestrained lust” and also implied misplaced lust as shown in Titanic movie

    Icon,

WTF are you trying to say with this statement? See what unrestrained lust has done. In 1927 world population was just two billion, and it increased to seven billion in 2012 (in less than a century), thus most of the good contributions of Science exist as though they were never invented.

Most of the population 'explosion' is due to several generations of humans living MUCH longer lives than they did for the 100,000 years before the 20th Century and the improved sanitation conditions brought about by treating water and wastewater and the advancements in medical care, health and the availability of calories. In other words, fewer people were dying of such things as cholera, the plague, typhoid, TB and starvation at birth, during infancy and in early adulthood.

The average lifespan for humans, for 100,000 years, was between 24-34. Average lifespans now are in the upper 70s and 80s, unless you are a male in Russia.

As been pointed out by scientists, this one time 'explosion' will level out until, by the next century, we will likely see a leveling off of the population. The majority of those generations would have died by the time they were in their 30s or 40s had it not been for these advancements.

Lust had nothing to do with it, other than the opposite sex, when they aren't afflicted by cholera, typhoid, starvation, etc. is likely much more attractive and much more capable of procreating.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about, EVER?

You mean to say there was no fornicating on the Titanic???

Dude, the only reason most teenagers weren't f**king in the back seats of cars in 1912 was because there weren't many cars.

    Icon,

When it comes to taking data and forcing it into one's cognitive biases you have the gold standard:

"Einstein indirectly admitted that only an agency superior to humans can solve our problems: "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

Einstein was correct; humans must evolve and change their awareness of their surroundings in order to fix what is broken. We say that all of the time on this site. For example, the on-going battles to get people like you to stop hating gays and develop more consciousness about them is one very good way in which we can improve our species' collective consciousness and thereby improve our species.

Einstein wasn't inferring or stating that the change in consciousness had to come from aliens or gods. He was an atheist.

Geesh, Icon. WTF is wrong with you.
