Of course. But that's what life is all about. The choices we make are a part of who we are. You know that old cliche from philosphy class that if you turn left you'd get hit by a bus; turn right and your life goes on with no knowledge of what might have been.
I try to look back on my experiences with the Witnesses and see what I can learn from it, otherwise all that pain and all those scars are a waste.
