anybody here who went to 'hayes bridge'?

Seeing that we are visiting Dudley, why not visit the South?

Now this is a nice looking hall in the middle of nowhere!!!!!! former home for naughty boys!!!!

Anyone help on the building, I remember cleaning the bricks on the roadway - oh what a privilege.... well I thought so at the time, but now looking back, oh how sad..........

oh well I hope some of you reply

    Hallo NW.

Yes we worked on the construction of HB and then did maintenance there until we faded away about 3 years ago.

(I have already repled to the 'Dudley' post when I saw this one)

We where in Kent No 1 circuit.

It is a gorgeous hall, I will have to scan a picture of it sometime and post it here. This is one Assembly hall where I wasn't involved in the construction!

HayesBridge......blimey that brings back memories!! It was a lovely assembly hall in the middle of the country. I remember a big WT thingy on top of the building.....I've got a pic somewhere, I'll find it and scan it. It was there for the Circuit Assemblies and Twickenham (later Crystal Palace) for the conventions, and I actually quite liked them!

Actually now I remember it's actually Hays Bridge - not to be confused with Hayes in West London.

I never liked the red decor, always sent me to sleep.

    Hang on.

    Maybe it was the program.

    Ignored One.

    Of the Hays Bridge class.

Do you know for how much it has been bought 1987?

And for how much sold, in 2008?

Can somebody approve that it's sold or at least, that it's not in use anymore?

Who sold this school building in 1987 and why does a school get sold?
