Benext, take me as an example. My wife and I left a few years ago, but we still keep in contact with her witness family. Our just being friends with her little sister has caused her to qestion things and her brother has softened a bit as well. Who knows what can happen in the future if we are allowed to have contact with them? But then the WTS may march in, DF or DA us and force my wifes parents to cut us off from her brother and sister, they will no longer have this influence. How many other X witnesses are there out there who were never DFd or DAd, but stull have contact with their witness family and may be affecting them in a positive way? The aim of the WTS is to cut these people off and their "apostate" influence.
