How anyone could've taken offense at your post is beyond my comprehension - you have a beautiful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor!!!!! Compared to some comments I've seen posted - yours was mild and I lmao!!!
Don't worry about "some" persons opinions regarding that comment of yours - it just shows that sometimes you can take the JW out of the hall but you can't take the hall out of the JW
No Dottie your post didn't not bother me at all..I thought it so funny- at my age we like a bit if "kidding" about "way back when"If I had been 20 yrs of age -I guess some would of thought "poor lass" she needs a man---- But being 75 & making that remark is awful!!!!I was called a dirty ole woman.... Well I wont argue with anyone- if they think that of me so be it. But I was really trying to make people laugh.......Keep up being a laugh giver Dottie!!!I enjoyed it immensly.

I was standing with a group of Americans around that exhibit. It looks like a small cannon is attached to his armor. We were all impressed, let me tell you. No mistaking who was king on the battlefield. It's a wonder that his enemies didn't die from fright after seeing it!

Your post made me laugh out loud! It also reminded me why I shouldn't drink my coffee while reading the board ; hard to get the coffee I spew out of the little cracks in the keyboard. I think, as others have already said, that you have a wonderful sense of humor...DON'T let a few humorless, prudish party poopers ruin your fun...or ours, for that matter! There will always be a few who are offended by just about anything and that's their problem, not yours.
