I only vaguely recall a small number of DFing/DA announcements in my old Hall (in fact, mine was probably the first they'd had for years...it wasn't what you'd call an exciting Congregation). I would pay large amounts of money to have been a fly on the wall when my DA announcement was being made! Pity my parents had to sit through that.
