This is like calling the executives running cigarette manufacuring companies stupid.

They're not stupid, they're amoral, unethical GENIUSES.

It's the stupid brainwashed 8 millions idolators that adore them and obsequiously hang on every utterance from their white-washed mouths who are the stupid suckers, in the same way that untold millions of cigarette smokers are the suckers.

I do have to wonder sometimes if there is something to the rumors that the GB are just figureheads and someone else is calling the shots.

There is no question that they are figureheads.

Splane and Sanderson are the only ones with an IQ over 90.

There is absolutely no question that this is a corporation run by outside interests.

sir82 - Old timers like ... Barry ... at least were dignified and gave the appearance of competence.

Lloyd Barry was a fraud and a sinner against the holy spirit, in the same manner that Geoffrey Jackson is a fraud and a sinner against the holy spirit. Both commenced taking the emblems for the Lord's Evening Meal on Nisan 13 and not Nisan 14 and therefore appointed themselves as holy ones and saints.

I'm impressed. Lots of excellent comments from Oppostate, Frank, LisaRose and Steve2, as well as others. Having said that, the chicken Ted Talk has some truths, but it is also very simplistic and not completely transferrable to human teams. The Dark Lords seem to be employing a very successful strategy used by Jack Clarke, the CEO of G.E. from 1981 - 2001. Welch understood that the Pareto principle, aka the 80/20 rule, almost always exists in organizations - and nearly everything else in life. In other words, 20% of a company's employees do 80% of the work. These 'stars,' if you want to call them that, are vital to a company's success (or government, church, etc.).

From Wiki: Under Welch's leadership, GE increased market value from $12 billion in 1981 to $280 billion, making 600 acquisitions while shifting into emerging markets. Welch worked to streamline GE, eradicating inefficiencies by trimming inventories and dismantling the 9 layer management bureaucracy, closing factories, reducing payrolls and cutting lackluster units. And rewarding the 'stars.'

Each year, Welch would fire the bottom 10% of his managers, regardless of absolute performance. He rewarded those in the top 20% with bonuses and stock options. Welch also strongly believed that upper management, the leaders, deserved all the glory and $ they got, and he wasn't at all concerned with the disparity.

It seems that the Dark Lords have hired an efficiency and management consultant; from what I hear you all say, the Dark Tower's changes the past few years are strikingly similar to Welch's reforms.

You may have a point. What better way to prove you're a genius than by continuing to keep an organization alive that is made up of nothing but obvious lies. It's like selling the Brooklyn Bridge over and over and over to the same guy.

nice ted talk, im going to post that one my Facebook page and see if any one actually watches it. lol

as it applies to all of humanity as a whole.

I always wondered, were those in attendance at the convention where these guys gave these blubbering opinions, allowed to bring newly interested one? or stream the talk onto someones private tv or computer?

can you imagine what these people thought upon hearing all that?

a sure way to alienate everyone id say

They are absolutely not geniuses. Anyone with an above average IQ can see that.

Those that stated the current batch are dummied down versions of their earlier peers have it mostly right. The reason for this, quite simply is the organization is authoritarian in nature. Authoritarianism exists on far right of the socio-political spectrum. Ultra-conservative groups like the WT breed and promote these types of "leaders". With every iteration of newly promoted individuals comes increased requirements for obedience to that authority, and decreased levels of logical approach. This is how authoritarian organizations feed on themselves and eventually die off. They cannot evolve properly in a society that is increasingly better informed, (overall), so their methods become more about control and submission to authority rather than any appeal to critical thought. WT are not alone in this. All fundamentalist organizations, (religious or otherwise), follow a similar pattern.

The men at the top are merely a representation of the organization that sponsored them. Hopelessly backwards, and doing everything in their power to prevent others from figuring that out. What they fail to understand is that only makes things worse for their position, and hastens their demise.

Make no mistake, lakeside compounds or not, these guys are not intelligent by even the most basic of measures. One needs to look no further than Donald Trump to see one can be successful and still be an idiot.
