Greetings... You may have already heard one of our forum members has been asked to appear on the Dr. Phil Show after she submitted her shunning story (see thread entitled: HELP!!!! I NEED FEEDBACK PLEASE!!!!Jul 29, 2002 20:57; http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=33346&site=3&page=1).

If you would like to tell your "tragic" JW story, be it shunning, sex abuse, and/or any of the other issues which JWs and xJWs have, here is the online form to fill out. Since Dr. Phil is "biting" right now, anyone who has hoped for an opportunity to tell their story publicly, this just might be your big chance.

I tried to find a direct email addy for Dr. Phil, but couldn't find one. HOWEVER, as stated above, below is the link to the page/online form which our fellow-forum member must have filled out and which GOT Dr. Phil's/Oprah's ATTENTION, and invited her to be on the show

We could ALL use this same online form to submit our "tragic" JW experience. The more that write in, the better, eh? Of course, the online form says you have to be willing to go on the show. But if you got sick and couldn't go on the show when it is time for taping, at least they were "informed" of the JW issues and may do another show later on, right? -- Hey, free trip to LA (Dr. Phil Show) and/or Chicago (Oprah Show). ;) GRITS

Thanks William for that extra link.

And I&P, I'm with you on Dr. Phil's favorite question, "How's that working for ya?"

To date I've yet to hear anyone have a positive comeback to that question. When asked, they always have to confess, "It isn't [working for me]." Too funny! And some of his other homespun Texas expressions are hysterical, though I can't think of them right off. Hey, tomorrow is Tuesday: Dr. Phil Day on Oprah! (though they are all re-runs right now... I watch 'em again anyway, what the haaaay). ;)

    Later kids/Grits
