  How ironic they can state this, yet also own stock in a company that manufactures pieces to make bombs, as noted in another thread.

  DakotaRed is none of those things, and what he said is true. The stock may have been GIVEN to them, but Watchtower has the responsibility to get RID of this stuff immediately, or divest itself somehow.

  If they could secretly align themselves with the UN, they can do anything. Watchtower needs better lawyers and PR persons.

  The WTS HOLDS "tentative ownership" in stock of ONE COMPANY, which itself owns a MINORITY interest in ANOTHER COMPANY, which owns the rights to market a new "energy producing" technology, which can be used in any number of consumer or commercial applications, which has licensed those rights to EVEN ANOTHER COMPANY, which has relicensed thse rights to a company which makes "surveillance drones". _________

  IF and when this new technology gets going in the consumer marketplace, the WTS may very well look like a HERO to the world. Keep up the PUBLICITY. Five years down the road, all of this BS will wind up making the WTS more popular to non-JWs.

  Maybe that is the reason for the wt not selling the stock. They could get more mileage out of this, than of anything else they have bragged about. That it's company was connected w the military will be convemiently forgotten. Maybe they will even allow military service after a while. It works well for the mormons.
