Has anybody here been to this summer's District Convention yet? I was wondering if someone could give me a brief synopsis of what the drama was about, as well as any "new releases" that came out. I'm asking because I'm sure my mother will be calling soon with her yearly "How Did You Enjoy The Convention, Dear" conversation, and since I have no intention of going to the convention (or any meetings for that matter) but I'm not quite ready to tell her that yet, I'd like to be able to at least give her something to create the illusion I was there. Just something to tell her for the time being, until I'm ready to let her and the rest of my family know how I really fell about everything.

Thanks Matty, that should help with bluffing regarding the new releases.
Does anybody know what the drama was about? Or have they done away with the dramas by now? (I haven't been to a District Convention in three years!)

I must admit I'm curious about the dramas myself...
If you want I can try asking my grandma about the convention and feign some interest in her notes and post them for you... she just got back from going to the one in Virginia.

Sure astrid_kittie, if it's not too much trouble. I'm going to end up having to take a trip to visit my parents next weekend, so that'll give me a little less that a week to brush up on all the "spiritual food" I can find.
