What music, that is. I highly recommend Sade's new CD, "Lover's Rock". Every song is a perfect accompaniment to "the horizontal dance".

So, what music enhances your enjoyment?

Instrumentals, or voices singing in languages I can't understand. I don't want lyrics tugging at the fringes of my attention, I just want the melody laying down a musical blanket to tumble on. Capercaillie's lush music, with Karen Matheson's gorgeous voice singing in Gaelic, is perfect for it. Unfortunately, their CDs always contain a sprinkling of reels... an intensely annoying, shrill and artificially perky musical style that inspires one to want to lay a one-two punch on the fiddler and piper. Thank goodness for ripping and MP3's, to sort out what you want!

A couple of gooebump-generating examples for ya. These are complete songs in mp3 format; they're about 4.5 meg apiece.

Music? It would be more enjoyable with a partner first But, once upon a time, I did prefer some very soft and low music, if any at all.

Ooooh, you know I had to come see what everyone was making love to.

    Thinker,

I like Sade & Luther Vandross but I have to slightly agree with Comf & Dakota. During "that time", I would prefer instrumental or no music at all.

    Ahhhhhhh,

    Richard,

So, the United Kingdom is your home. You probably won't get the same stuff of the tele tonight that I referred you to in my e-mail.

As for your post.......I hate to assume anything on this one.

I'll just go with "sounds here", just to be safe and not get myself in trouble. I always love the sounds of "water", whether it be rain on a tin roof, or the sounds of the surf. If it isn't really happening with the elements of nature, I have a couple favorite CD's, with accompaniment of stringed instruments. I love chimes, bells, the violin, the piano.....
