    The thing is, the WTBTS will say that being in their creepy religion is just like a club, and that they have the right to determine who will be members or not. Which they do.

    Morally, they have a responsibility to people, but legally, not really. They don't seem to care about either, as was demonstrated by Erica Garza's ordeal.

    Of course, that wouldn't stop people from trying to get punitive damages from a wrongful death suit if someone killed themselves from being DF'd. I'm sure that if anyone ever had a big suit against the Watchtower for damages because of DF'ing, a whole bunch of us could come to the person defense.
