    CONGRATULATIONS FINN!!

I'm not a golfer...but I know how rare it is to make a hole in one.

And to think when I opened this thread...I was expecting another sex thread.

    Good for you.

A jokester golfer asked me why he carried an extra pair of pants with him when playing golf, I asked, and he said, 'in case I get a hole in one.'

Did you see the Korean get a hole in one at the U.S. OPEN?

A golf course in the USA held a tournament and offered a $10,000 prize for a hole in one during tournament play. My brother SOLD THEM AN INSURANCE POLICY for this possibility!!! (I believe Lloyds of London took the action.)

He was still "in" back then. So, I asked him, "Isn't this somehow related to GAMBLING?".

    Ummmh, er, hmmmm, YES...

Mustang, it would not be considered gambling because there are certain tournaments where the sponsors put up the car and no monies come out of your pocket to take a 'chance.' It's considered a bonus from the sponsors. I know because I have staged golf tournaments.

Still could be a 'close one to call', Guest. That is especially so with the tendency of the Dubs to 'shoot from the hip'. 'JW justice' gives new meaning to the term 'trumped up charges'.

What I thought was great was that the Insurance Underwriter didnt even blink. "We have a specialist for that. One moment, Ill put you through."
