It sounds like Dylan had a dislocated elbow that popped back into place.

Symptoms of a dislocated elbow may include:

    • Severe pain that increases with any movement.
    • A misshapen joint (the bone looks out of its normal position). The dislocated elbow will look very different than the opposite elbow.
    • A feeling that something popped or feels out of place.
    • Inability to bend or straighten the arm (locked elbow). This may occur because of pain or because the bones are locked and can't move.
    • Cool, pale skin or numbness or tingling in or below the affected elbow (if nerves or blood vessels were injured or pinched by the dislocation).

Same thing happened to my daughter when she was 2.

Last time I took my lad to A+E...I had the embarrassment of not remembering his birth date....a JW carryover! They then checked the computer as he had attended about 2 months earlier to get his correct details.....oops! I know it now!

lol.......I forgot to send my condolences/whatever to Ang & Simon! Hang in there, Parents!

When my second boy was 10 - he thought it great fun to get on a trampoline with some BIG teenage boys.....and they were kind enough to carry him home afterwards with a broken arm. We took him to Emergency and after the cast, the doctor was showing me what to look for if the cast got too tight. The doctor pinched the end of his finger until it was blood red and said if my son's hand looked like this, I should bring him back in.

Then the doctor noticed the white face of the mother and told the nurse to get the mother out of there as she was going to faint. Thankfully, the fresh air helped a lot.

Ahhhhhhhhh, the memories of being a parent.

That is what they suspected LDH, because they sent him for the x-ray to make sure - but he was terrified and was screaming and thrashing about - so maybe in all the struggling popped it back in, because it was after he came out of x-ray he started to perk up again and by the time the doctor had looked at the x-rays and called us back in he was fine

ha ha ... I can never remember birthdays but I'm getting better - I can normally get it to the year and month now.

It is just so horrible to see the little one's in pain and not really be able to do much to help.

Dylan has not been as bad a Liam was - he tripped over, falling forwards and banged his forehead on a metal dumbell and had a huge bruise on his forehead. Took him to casuallty for that. Then he only went and banged it again the wekk after. Both his eyes were black and he looked like he'd been in a heavyweight fight. He looked like a klingon!
