There is a certain percentage of people who seem to relish being in a high-control group such as a cult. They need to have someone in authority telling them what to do and what to think. Most JWs fall into this category. A few here and there will wake up and see the TTATT, but the majority prefer to remain brainwashed. Sad but true.

There are two separate and distinct delusions going on with JWS, one is situated by the leaders of this organization the GB and further down the chain of command,
and secondly the rest of the Rank & File members who think what they've been taught by these people is the Truth.
The reality is the WTS was founded on lies and false information and the organization has grown from that over the years still basked in false misleading information
that was created not only to spur on the proliferation of the literature but to sustain the power and control of the organization as its been structured.

Some people are obviously starting to wake up to the fact that the WTs. hasn't been as honest as they once previous thought, so they are sitting on the side lines or
left completely.

The more poorly trained elders put in place to enforce conflicting doctrine, the more people will leave.
