Its the never ending Un-Peace that exists between the two religions in that region. Both have sects that are bent on seeing the other moved out of the way. They both have their fixation on a physical monument that has great emotional significance.

This has been an intentional effort to displace Palestinians in the Old City part of Jerusalem. Condemned by many international Right Groups the Ateret Cohanim operate their illegal siezures with the blessings of the current Netanyahu led government. Rioting by Palestinians against this land seizure is presently occuring.
