Dear god, Angharad just asked me "what's this widen icon they're talking about?"

Obviously a bad, unintuitive UI that needs a revamp.

LOL... I found the widen button (never used it before). Clicked it and it widened my view.

Now I cannot return to my 'normal' view. *sigh*

yep--it started in wide screen. no need to get my laptop fixed after all. thanx Simon---you saved me a few quid
