When you read these types of stories you can clearly see how the JW's are just one more denomination.

They hold the Guiness world record for the biggest charity walk and have quite a big social humanitarian programme at least in the Philippines.
Compare that to the JW's humanitarian programme (zilch!)

That is so creepy how similar they are. To think that more than one such monster is out there swallowing up peoples lives. Still, looks like they have more fun than jw's.

Wow, marked! It would be interesting to throw this at JW's when they say where else will you go? Say when Jesus came to inspect in 1914, he found none worthy, so made this guy the 'faithful slave' LOL. So many similarities though.

scary to see so solidly entrenched religions, TITHING, grounded with feet solidly planted on the ground, doing charitable works, with the wt handwringing about overlapping generations Fads of 1919, wt going into the virtual religion idea, while these people buid the biggest indoor venue in the world.
it is good to be free, but one feels left out of the stratospheric leadership attitudes in both cults.

they keep things simple, their tagalog title "for executive comittee"= GB has 11 'a's in it. as many 'a's as consonants.

Their website does a better job of heralding 1914 as a cardinal year.
I still say the GB's attempt this year is to "herald" it while downplaying it.
If that is at all possible, JWs will find a way since they are masters at double speak.
