This video on youtube for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jRQqVygD0k&list=UUgSxqg6Qln5Yk0ZIJ2DuTow&feature=player_detailpage has over 100K views but other newer channels like jwstruggle and others have just a few hundred or just little over a 1000. I have noticed a lot of videos from the early days of the internet, earlier part of this decade have a lot more views than those of today. Is it because they have just been around so long or do you think less people are searching, then maybe 10 years ago or so?

Who needs to look at any internet page or do any research when you only need use the jw.borg site? jw.borg will also soon be offering the jw.borg internet browser that will protect internet searchs outside of the jw.borg website from satans websites so one may never see anything that causes questions about the unfaithful and reckless slave (matt 24).

Less and Fewer

Writers often misuse the words less and fewer. The word less should be used for a single item (e.g., less time). Fewer should be used when there is more than one item (e.g., fewer mice).

I am more direct than Terry: You thread title needs to be re-written as follows: "It seems as though fewer JWs are viewing online media about the ORG."

Now back to your OP: There are likely two alternative explanations about the reduced number of hits on websites and you tube videos, with neither excluding any other explanation:

1) The older a website or you tube video, the greater the number of hits over the years; time + hits = greater number.

2) In recent tears, there has been a proliferation of websites and you-tube videos on the organization. This could mean that a similar proportion of JWs are searching the internet compared to, say, 10 years ago, but they have a much greater number of sites and videos to choose from than earlier. This would result in tens of thousands of hits being spread over more sites or videos, creating impression of fewer hits.

Another point, I've also noticed that pro-JW videos do not attract large numbers of hits.

I am with steve2 on this. Back 10 years ago, a searcher would look at all the ex-JW videos. Now, there are so many of them that a searcher cannot do it. They probably just look at the more popular ones that come up. If you filter down to the videos from just the last month, there are still tons of them. That wasn't the case so long ago.

Yes my grammar is not good as well as my spelling, but remember my past. I was a jw that droped out of school because the end was so near and education not important. Stayed home and work full time to feed the family since my father resigned from a good paying job for one of labor and little pay. He died pennyless and homeless.
