This is the first I've heard about this - but I may be behind ( as usuual )
But do I understand that the BOrg has now lowered the minimum hours of service some more??
What are the requirements now for a full time pioneer??
I know it was 70 hours then it was reduced to 60 I believe...
If this is a way to increase their ovrall hours - It will definatly backfire.. just as lowering the standards of anything allows a definate backward movement of the goal..

I'd like someone to please seriously explain this as well.
I've seen a few remarks and jokes made about this around here but I don't understand what you guys are talking about. I haven't heard of anything having to do with preaching for 15 minutes. Did I miss something? You guys must have talked about it on some weekend I couldn't come in to the forum.

Essentially, the Society has allowed that those who may be elderly or incapacitated in some way can hand in as little as 15 min of time for a month and still be counted as active publishers. Just another loving provision from Jehovah!

Was this in a recent WT or KM? I hadn't heard.
It was in a BOE, announced at the KM School, and then it was in the KM.
Thanks Blondie, do you know which KM? Was it in the last couple of months or so? Is there a thread already started on this? I did a search and couldn't find anything.
A long time pioneer told me it was harder to get your time in after they lowered the hours, (false sense of security maybe) and that at first they had lots of new pioneers, but they never finished the year. When you look at the stats, the numbers get lower and lower for new pioneers.
