New Light: 3rd heaven?

Yet more proof that they have no concept of how to read and understand Scripture.

A simple man like me can see that the writers such as Paul and the writer of Hebrews had a concept of several "heavens", they would have used the singular if they meant it was one place, the writer of Hebrews conceives of all Seven in 4v14 (not made plain in translation, but in the Gk Jesus ascends through the heavens, plural).

The W.T continue to make fools of themselves by ignoring the cultural and literary content of Bible books, and by applying to themselves and this 21st century ideas that belong back in the 1st.

Paul said what he believed, that he had been transported to a place, a place seperate from the other "heavens", this was not some wish-washy figurative pointing forward to what the GB would like it to mean now, he really believed he went there, and that it existed then.

The GB are Fools, leading the gullible.

I posted a comment about this topic here on another board.

When you look at the context (2 Cor 12:1-10) and the reason that Paul mentioned this experience, he was sarcastically showing that he could present himself to the Corinthians just as fabulously as the 'super-apostles' that he was being compared with. But he chose not to do that way.

So, while the GB present "new light" about what they speculate the "third heaven" is, they, by their actions, show that they miss the point Paul was trying to make. (Matthew 23:24)
