The bible says God makes no distinction.

Atheist use that argument as one of many in support of their beliefs.

I like cruising Barna surveys, which make it clear that self-professed evangelicals live the same as their "worldly" contemporaries.

It makes one wonder, what difference does a profession of faith make?

The way I see it, God made Balams ass talk.

If the preachers didnt preach God would make the stones cry out or so the scriptures say.

All the preachers I know were super hypocrites and i knew a lot from working at the county jail

    and life in general.

But to those who much is given, much is expected and each person has to work out theri

    own salvation.

From the preachers I knew, it was like they viewed it as a job.

I'm not saying that is good or bad. It is just the way it is.

Of course there are some that are very spiritual, whatever that means.

The fact is God makes no distinction between people whover we are

    .

Really? Have you read the Old Testament?

Even the NT demonstrates clearly that god either approves or disapproves of a person based on their religious beliefs. Armageddon anyone?

Now before you launch off to where I know you'll next go, namely that events in the OT cannot be attributed to god, and that Armageddon is not a genuine Biblical concept, keep in mind that if you reject those two concepts then you must also reject the concept that god is impartial- because it's all in the same book.

Reject one and, by default, you must reject the other.

You'd think, JB, that all that preaching would have more of an effect on people's actions.

Preachings just a start, then you have to read the word.

Ultimately, I think there are some good people.

I don't know how many and I don't know how good.

But I have met some good people.

    No ones perfect.

There are a lot of things that make a peson good or bad.

A lot of factors are external so they do fall on leaders religious, political and social.
