  Well Im no expert on communism. But it seems to me that its a classic case of the "road to hell being paved with good intentions".
  As I understand it the basic intent was to have everyone equally well fed, dressed and housed. No starving street dwellers,and no super wealthy"fat cats". An even distribution of everything. In theory, an Idea Im not against.
  Why, you could almost say that to a degree the worlds heading that way now.Perhaps we are becoming a little more "conscious", as you put it.

  Thanks for the discussion guys. That was a great parallel rutherford, the 20's.
  Is is just a coincidence that evil/radical, in whatever capacity seems to happen in alot of places at once?

  Look at all the kooky religions that got started in the late 1800s, it was almost like satan had been unleashed for a time.

  Thank God a thinker like Orwell didn't live in a box.
