Can anyone recommended any good congregations to visit? My hotel is in Waterloo area so something close please.

Try the Paddington congregation. Amazing to believe but the building is a large church, which the society bought from Babylon the great. Still principlas aside when it comes to owning property in central London.

New Cross is about 10-15 minutes away by train, simple and direct.
