Come on lads, this is set to be the hottest day so far in the UK this year!

Temperatures are set to top 87 in London today, which means that this Englishman has removed his trousers already! Yes, I'm sat here, in me shorts, socks removed, exposing me milk bottles to the sun.

Her Ladyship is at work, poor thing, whilst I'm sat here enjoying a chilled Kronenburg and a few artichokes to nibble. I've bought some steaks and anchovies for a barbie later this afternoon, then we're off to the pub in the evening.

Oh how I wish I could be attending the Service meeting and MS instead!

    Chortle /chuckle / giggle.

Yup. I want to go to the meeting tonight, too.[8>]

Actually had some of those same plans in mind with the BBQ-steak idea....and taking off a day to see Star Wars of course....

...but the idea of missing so much spiritual food...how sad

    Spiritual Castor Oil, anyone?

I've not been brave enough to dig out my shorts yet.

Its not just the men with milk bottle legs - I think I need to get some of that fake tan stuff

and before the Service meeting you should be going out on field service wearing a suit and tie

Ah, milk bottles! That takes me back. Do you remember when there was such a thing as the milkman and he delivered milk in bottles to each home?

Don't know about you guys, but we in the Great Southern Land haven't seen milk bottles since grandma was a young woman!

But what's this about you poms having 87 degrees? You mean it's hot? Struth, mate, it must be the 'time of the end'!!

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

    Eman,
I have some visitors from Bristol here right now. They can't get enought sunshine. They are sitting here with a nice pink color.

They tell us it is so cold and damp there. Well anyways we are going to do things and go places.

I don't miss the meeting atall just like you.

Ozzie, we still have a chappy delivering milk daily down our road.

Reckless, Bristol eh? It's not that cold and damp, only for 6 months of the year, anyway!

PS. Bristol folk tend to put an "L" on the end of words that finish with a vowel, you should ask your visitors about this! Thereby, Samantha is Samanthal, Canada is Canadal, an idea is an ideal.

Hmm, do I know these folk from Bristol?

    Englishman.
